• Any oral habits that may impact oral function and development, such as thumb sucking, pacifier use, or tongue thrusting, are assessed. The frequency, duration, and intensity of these habits are considered.

Assessment of Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMDs):

• Evaluation of orofacial myofunctional disorders, which involve abnormalities in the muscles and functions of the face and mouth, is conducted. This may include assessing the child's resting posture of the lips and tongue, as well as their ability to perform specific oral movements.
